In the past 18 months, Kia and I have either been on the go or hid in our tiny French village. As with many people, our reading habits have changed to reflect our lifestyle, which means that we have worked ourselves through a fairly versatile mix of travel guides, adventure travel books and "Expat books", stories about how we have left the ordinary life behind us to look for something new.
because Christmas is getting closer, we have decided to take a look at some of the best-selling expat books of 2015-perfect gifts for those who do not live at home or consider the leap for 2016.
Our curated list of expat books is based on bestseller lists on Amazon and Goodreads and includes novels about expats, personal memoirs about expat life, guidelines for general expat life and adaptation to a new expat life.
