Binh Thuan: 11 million tourists in 2025 – this is how the province attracts!
In 2025, Binh Thuan Province in Vietnam has set an ambitious goal: to attract over 11 million tourists to the region. With a comprehensive tourism economic stimulus program, the province wants to promote the mobilization of all sectors and service providers to achieve this goal. The plan is designed to not only increase visitor numbers, but also boost tourism revenue and stimulate the local economy.
The main objectives include developing trade and services and stimulating consumption of domestic and locally produced goods. In order to improve the tourist experience, great emphasis is placed on diverse and high-quality programs. The motto to attract tourists is: “Binh Thuan – Endless Experiences”.
Incentive system and planned events
The plan defines four main contents aimed at successful implementation:

- Verknüpfung von Reisezielen, Produkten und Dienstleistungen.
- Organisation von Seminaren zur Produktentwicklung und Untersuchung neuer Tourismusprodukte.
To reach the 11 million visitor goal, several exciting events are planned including:
- Nationale Jugend-Vovinam-Meisterschaft
- Nationale U16-5×5-Basketballmeisterschaft
- Kitesurfing-Woche
- Straßenvolkskulturfestival der Provinz Binh Thuan
- Straßenmusik
- Kate-Festival 2025
- Dinh Thay Thim-Festival
New tourist offers and destination management
The province is also working on introducing new forms of tourism such as nursing and health tourism, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions), high-end water sports tourism, as well as agri/ecotourism and cultural tourism. A Famtrip program to explore tourism in Binh Thuan, Lam Dong and Dak Nong is also organized.
Destination management will be strengthened to ensure environmental protection, safety and protection of tourist rights. In addition, tourism service providers are encouraged to offer special preferential policies and sales promotions. The provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is leading and coordinating the implementation of the plan and will report on progress by the end of October 2025.
