Forestival 2025: Music festival combines tradition with creativity in Ninh Bình!”
On June 1, 2025, the important music festival “Forestival 2025” took place in the historical area of Trang An. The opening of the event was provided by DJ 2pillz with energetic rhythms that immediately heated up the mood. Among the talented artists who performed were several Xam singers from Ninh Binh as well as beatbox artist Trung Bao. Xam singing was recognized as an intangible cultural heritage in 2021 and plays a central role in the region's cultural identity.
Forestival 2025 was launched with the aim of combining traditional heritage with contemporary art. Music director Nguyen Huu Vuong, supported by Crystal Band, Cadillac Group and VK, ensured a varied program ranging from emotional stories to modern beats. Hoang Dung, T’linh, Vu, Chillies, Vu Cat Tuong, Phan Manh Quynh and Quang Hung MasterD all brought their unique musical styles to this emotional musical journey.
A celebration of creativity and responsibility
The Forestival, which is part of the “Trái tim di sản” project, is perceived not only as a music festival, but also as a creative space that brings people together. Hà Anh Tuấn announced that the event also carries social responsibility: he promised to donate VND500 million to Save Vietnam’s Wildlife. All proceeds from ticket sales are used to support nature, culture and conservation projects across the country.
A special highlight for the first 1,000 ticket buyers was the opportunity to plant trees in Cuc Phuong National Park. This not only promotes environmental awareness, but also the connection with nature, which is the focus of the event.
Future-oriented events in Ninh Bình
As part of efforts to promote tourism in Ninh Bình, a conference was held on March 25, 2023, where the “Forestival 2025” event was presented. In addition to the Forestival, other events are also planned, including the Lễ hội Hoa Lư and Lễ hội Tràng An in April and the Ninh Bình Gastronomy Festival in September 2025.
