Tourism advance in NGHE: Experts present new perspectives

On May 17, 2025, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism from Vinh, NGHE organized a seminar for the evaluation of tourism products and services. This event was followed by a FamTrip program, which was organized by a delegation of North Vietnamese travel and tourism companies as part of the Sen-Dorff Festival 2025. Representatives of the city of Hanoi, Hanoi UNESCO Travel Club and over 60 leading travel and tourism service providers took part in the discussion. On the part of the province of NGHE, Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh, the director of the ministry, was present and opened the event.

The seminar was part of a comprehensive cooperation on tourism development between NGHE and Hanoi for 2025. The cooperation between the ministries is to target the tourist destinations of NGHE and Hanoi on the market. From May 15th to 17th, the FamTrip delegation visited several sights in NGHE, including the reliquary Kim Lien and the Vinwonder's ambiguous park.

The participants of the family of the family were mostly positive about the potential and the infrastructure of tourism in NGHE. Nevertheless, existing problems were also addressed. The challenges include seasonal developments, a lack of unique products as well as inadequate service quality and weak communication. Experts recommended the development of seasonal routes and themed tours as well as the improvement of digital experiences.

Mr. Tran Trung Hieu emphasized the importance of the survey elegation for product development and the networking of companies. Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh concluded the discussion with thanks to the participants and a clear goal: to develop new tourism products and to strengthen communication. Following the discussion, the FamTrip delegation visited the services in the Ökozone Muong Thanh Dien Lam.

role of the Hanoi Unesco Travel Clubs

The Hanoi Unesco Travel Club, which celebrated its 15th anniversary on March 15, plays an important role in promoting tourism in Hanoi and all of Vietnam. Nguyen Trung Khanh, director of the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, emphasized how the club contributed to improving tourist services and the global promotion of Vietnam. In the past 15 years, the club has received 17 recognitions of various ministries and organizations.

The club focuses on 15 countries whose citizens benefit from visa -free and plans strategic partnerships with travel agencies, hotel investors and airlines. The latest activities included participation in the Tourism Stimulus Program 2025 and the orientation of the UNESCO Travel Fest 2025, which attracted around 800 participants. Environmental initiatives were also emphasized at the 15th anniversary.

The combination of tourism funding and social projects, especially for those affected by natural disasters, shows the Hanoi UNESCO Travel Club a strong commitment to the region and the improvement of the quality of life of its citizens. The club, which was founded in 2009 and counts 800 members from Hanoi and surrounding provinces, will participate in the development and implementation of programs that further optimize Vietnam's tourist perspectives.
