The blue grotto is one of the most famous natural wonder Croatia. This extraordinary sea cave on the tiny island of Biševo is dipped in a surreal blue light between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.
The unearthly effect arises when the sun's rays are penetrated through an underwater opening and reflect from the limestone floor, causing the water to dive into a sapphire blue. Rocks under the water shimmer silver and pink to a depth of 16 m.
Tourists flock to the place in summer, so take a visit to the low season to defeat the masses in Croatia.

Trogir's extraordinarily well-preserved Romanesque and Renaissance architecture brought her the status of a World Heritage Site in 1997. The richly decorated west portal was carved by the architect Master Radovan born in Trogir and dates from 1240.

Plitvice is a bit ambitious when it comes to split day trips. Located 250 km (2.5 hours of car), it is quite a bit, but we would fail to not mention it to those readers who do not want to travel through the country and maybe take their only chance to see Plitvice.
This national park and World Heritage Site has a sequence of 16 turquoise lakes surrounded by densely forested hills. However, it is not the lakes that are the main attraction, but the hundreds of waterfalls that connect them.
This scenic landscape was shaped by the movement of Travertin, which was absorbed by the river and deposited downstream. Returned over the years, he created the terrace -shaped lakes that we see today.
