Anja Karliczek has a new tourism committee in the Bundestag!

On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, the constituent meeting of the new committee for tourism took place in the Bundestag. Under the direction of Bundestag Vice President Josephine Ortleb (SPD), Anja Karliczek was elected chairman by the CDU/CSU. In a secret choice, she received 11 out of 14 votes, although there were no votes in favor, but there were three abstentions. The committee is thus the chairmanship in the new legislative period.
