Stuttgart presents forward -looking further training projects for SMEs!
On May 15, 2025, the final event "Innovative further education in focus" took place in the Haus der Business in Stuttgart. At this event, the results were presented and discussed in detail, the results of various, by the Ministry of Economics, Labor and Tourism of the State of Baden-Württemberg. Focus of the further training projects

The focus of these projects is diverse and cover important topics, including digitization, cyber security, artificial intelligence, sustainable technologies, sustainable construction and industry 4.0.
The Ministry has set itself the task of continuously developing the offers of further training in the country. The training market in Baden-Württemberg already offers numerous high-quality offers, but the development and testing of innovative further training formats are central concerns. This is supported by regular support calls that are intended to promote a dynamic in the education sector.
target groups and special focus
An essential aspect of the funded projects is the timely sensitization for professional training and the implementation of target group -specific qualification measures. The offers are particularly aimed at less qualified and far -related groups of people. Particular attention is also paid to the needs of small and medium -sized companies (SMEs).
Currently 18 projects are planned and implemented, which are supported with a total funding of around 6 million euros (as of January 2023). These projects are designed to convey skills that are essential for the structural change of our economy. A central element also forms the testing of qualification associations for SMEs that appeal to specialists and managers as well as unusual and learned employees who have an increased risk of loss of job. In summary, it can be stated that the initiative to promote innovative further training not only wants to take into account the current challenges of the world of work, but can also be seen as an important innovation engine for companies.
