Bentour Reisen: Commission model remains stable – What does this mean for travel agencies?
Bentour Reisen confirms its commission model for 2025/2026: 11-13% for package travel bookings, important partnerships for travel agencies.

Bentour Reisen: Commission model remains stable – What does this mean for travel agencies?
The tour operator Bentour Reisen announced today that the existing commission model will be retained for the 2025/2026 financial year. This means that travel agencies receive a basic commission of 11% for every package trip from the first booking. This commission can increase to up to 13% depending on sales. Such an adjustment is particularly interesting for travel agencies that want to increase sales.
The staggering of the commission is regulated in detail. From an annual turnover of 15,000 euros, travel agencies can increase their commission in six stages up to the top rate of 13%. However, in order to achieve the maximum rate of 13%, specific sales targets must be set, which require a level of 250,000 euros. To promote sales, the remuneration can be paid either after receipt of the deposit or at the latest before the customer's departure.
Importance of stationary sales
Bentour Reisen emphasizes the importance of stationary sales. Travel agencies remain the company's most important sales partners. Special agreements for chains and cooperations offer additional incentives to strengthen and expand cooperation.
In addition to package tour bookings, which are commissioned at 11% to a maximum of 13%, there are also regulations for hotel-only bookings, which are compensated at 10%. What is particularly noteworthy is that there is no minimum turnover for the commission, which makes it easier for many travel agencies to access the commission regulations.
Future prospects and incentives
The volume regulations and commission models that Bentour Reisen has implemented are intended to help maintain a strong partnership with travel agencies. This strategic approach shows how important collaboration in stationary sales is for Bentour. The agreements not only offer commission regulations, but also exclusive information trips and advertising subsidies. Travel agencies are therefore still seen as essential partners in the marketing process.
Overall, Bentour Reisen is sending a clear signal: cooperation with travel agencies should be intensified and fully supported in order to ensure successful joint events in the coming season.
