Buddha Relics in Quang Ninh: A Holy Celebration Awaits!

At a press conference in Quang Ninh, representatives of the Executive Committee of the Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha announced the venerable arrival of the relics of Buddha Shakyamuni. These relics, a national shrine of India, are held by vietnam.vn highlighted as a significant event of next week as they will be enshrined and venerated at Truc Lam Yen Tu Palace from May 25 to 28, 2025.

The ceremonies to adore the relics are intended as a unique opportunity for each country, as per Indian regulations. The procession will begin on May 25, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. from Phuc Son Pagoda to the relic site in Yen Tu. On the same day, a solemn ceremony to adore the Buddha relic will take place at 7:00 p.m., followed by another ceremony on May 28 at 12:00 p.m.

Spiritual activities and preparations

A significant event will also take place on May 27 at Hoa Yen Pagoda, where a prayer ceremony for national peace and prosperity will be held. On the last day of the event, May 28, there will be a thanksgiving ceremony and procession of relics to Chuong Pagoda in Hung Yen Province.
