A trip to the Great Barrier Reef is one of the best tours offered in Cape tribulation. Due to its geographical proximity to the reef, Cape Tribulation offers one of the best opportunities to see the Great Barrier Reef on a day tour.

One of the few companies that offers snorkeling excursions to the reef from Cape Tribulation is Ocean Safari. These boys run tours every day and offer everything they need to snorkel on the reef. You can get you there in just 25 minutes so that you can optimally use your precious time in the tropics!

2. Solar Whisper Wildlife & Crocodile Tour

A visit to the Daintree is simply not complete without seeing an muzzle crocodile (salt water crocodile). These are the largest crocodiles in the earth and one of the best places to watch them is on the Daintree River, south of Cape Tribulation.

The best crocodile observation tour is carried out by Solar Whisper. These boys are the only emission -free wildlife cruises in the Daintree, which operate quietly electric motors that allow them to get closer to the crocodiles without disturbing them in their natural environment.

You will find the solar whisper boats right next to the Daintree River Ferry, which is perfect if you plan to drive to Cape tribulation yourself.

3. Cape tribulation riding tour

Is there a ride on the beach on your wish list? Cape tribulation is one of the best places in Australia to check it off!

This Cape Tribulation Tour starts twice a day and includes a guided ride through the Daintree-Regenwald and on the Golden Sandstrand of Myall Beach. This was one of my favorite bookable activities in Cape Tribulation and was also surprisingly cheap!

4. Guided night hike (animal observation)

The Daintree-Regenwald is the oldest in the world and also one of the most species. The wildlife is a large part of the Cape Tribulation experience and one of the most interesting ways to experience it is a night walk!

You can either go down to one of the many wooden walkways with a flashlight or book a guided night hike with a professional wildlife observer. I'm honest, I personally did not do this special Cape Tribulation Tour, but the reviews online seem to be excellent.

5. Tasting of exotic fruits

The tropical climate of Cape Tribulation and Daintree offers the perfect conditions for thriving exotic orchards. There are some orchards in Cape Tribulation, including Wildwood and Cape Trib Farm.

However, only the Cape Trib Farm visitors for tours for tasting freshly picked exotic fruits are open to non-guests. The fruits offered vary depending on the season. However, I almost guarantee that you will contain at least a few fruits that you have probably never heard of!

All rooms offer access to a created garden and fireplaces where you can grill under the stars.

Best hostel in Cape Trib: Daintree Crocodyylus hostel for backpackers and those with a small budget who prefer a somewhat raw daintree experience, I would recommend the hostel crocodyyl. In Cow Bay, closer to the ferry, but only a stone's throw from Cape Tribulation and Myall Beach, this hostel offers rooms in the safari tent style, which are made of wood and canvas, with high blankets, fans and mosquito nets. All rooms have a view of the rainforest and include access to your swimming pool!

Epic holiday home for groups: Cape Tribulation Holiday House with a group or would you prefer a large house in the rainforest all for itself?
