Ecotrophea 2025: Price for sustainable projects in tourism!

Berlin, Deutschland - On May 29, 2025, it was announced that the Ecotrophea 2025 of the German Travel Association (DRV) honors projects for the first time that contribute to the protection and maintenance of biological diversity in tourism. The focus of this year's initiative is the motto "biodiversity in tourism". This international award was set up in 1987 and has been awarding projects that contribute to sustainability in tourism. The DRV calls for practitioners from the industry as well as research and nature conservation to submit environmental and social responsibility for projects to actively address the challenges in the field of biodiversity.

The deadline for the applications is August 28, 2025, while the official award ceremony will take place on October 9, 2025 in Berlin.
