Egypt, the land of the pyramids and the Nile, offers travelers fascinating experiences that immerse themselves in one of humanity's oldest cultures. Nachbaur Reisen has two exciting travel dates in its program for 2025 that combine sensational sights and moments of relaxation on a traditional ship. The first leg of the journey starts in Cairo, where the participants, among other things, see the impressive Pyramids of Giza, will visit the Sphinx and the Grand Egyptian Museum. Another highlight is the citadel with the alabaster mosque and the lively Khan El Khalili bazaar.
Nile cruise details
After the stay in Cairo, the onward flight follows to Luxor, where the travelers board the private Dahabiya “Kendaka”. This luxurious, traditional sailing yacht offers an intimate atmosphere with air-conditioned outside cabins and a sundeck. The journey takes you from Luxor towards Aswan, with stops at important cultural and historical sites. This includes:
- Horus-Tempel in Edfu
- Doppeltempel von Kom Ombo
- Tal der Könige in Luxor
Travelers can also take part in excursions to the famous Abu Simbel and the Aswan Dam, one of the largest reservoirs in the world. On board, guests can expect a culinary experience with regional cuisine and a friendly, familiar crew.
Short Nile cruise with pyramid visit
A fascinating part of the program is the optional participation in a sound and light show in the Karnak Temple. Travelers can experience the impressive architecture of the temple complex in a different way.
On the last day of the trip, the group returns to Cairo, where the program includes a visit to the Pyramids of Giza, including the Great Pyramid, the Pyramids of Chephren and Menkaure, and the Sphinx. Lunch in a local restaurant rounds off the stay before the return flight home. If you would like to stay longer, you have the option of extending your stay in Cairo.
