How do you get to the Gadisar Lake Jaisalmer?
The Gadisar Lake is located directly on the edge of the Jaisalmer fortress, about 2 kilometers from the entrance. From the Jaisalmer fortress, it is possible to walk to Lake Gadisar in almost 30 minutes. Alternatively, a rickshaw from the fortress to Lake Gadisar costs only about 70-100 rupees per route.
To get to the lake on foot, you have to go south from the fortress until you reach the main street (Gadisar Road). From here you just continue to drive the Gadisar Road to the east. Finally they come to a cross called "Gadisar Lake Road". There is a sign and a few restaurants to attract tourists.
Follow the Gadisar Lake Road and you can reach the lake shore.
Alternative: Book a Jaisalmer Walking Tour that includes the Gadisar Lake for less than $ 12.

Remarkable pages
There are many remarkable temples and shrines that line the riparian promenade. Perhaps the most famous of it is the Tilon Ki Pol, a yellowish sandstone gate with a unique story. According to legend, this goal from the 14th century was built by a famous prostitute! Apparently the then ruling Maharawal refused when it suggested the construction of the gate due to the type of work. However, she ignored his decision and still built it while adding a Krishna temple so that the king would not destroy him.
More remarkable attractions on Lake Gadisar are a Shiva temple, several centuries-old monuments and some very picturesque pergolas that extend into the lake.
Gadisar-See-Boat
Maybe it is one of the best activities on Lake Gadisar to rent a pedal boat for sunset or sunrise. I didn't do that during my visit to the stinking midday heat, but I could imagine that it would be a great experience.
Costs for the boat on Lake Gadisar: 100-150 Rupien
