District classes 2025/26: New duels and relegations in Rottal!
The Lower Bavaria West football district is facing an exciting 2025/26 season. District game manager Herbert Hasak announced that a total of 56 clubs would compete in four different district classes. This division is made in accordance with the game rules of the Bavarian Football Association (BFV). A central element of the new season is the relegation of four Rottal clubs, which has a significant impact on the dynamics in the league.
The affected teams that will no longer play in the district classes next season are SG Tann, DJK Thanndorf, ESV Mitterskirchen and SG Stubenberg/ASCK Simbach II. These changes bring new challenges, especially for SG Julbach/Kirchdorf, which is able to get to know some of these clubs.
