Musi plays despite tragedy: hope and solidarity in Bad Kleinkirchheim!”

Stefanie Hertel and her team have decided to allow the open-air event “When the music plays” to take place in Bad Kleinkirchheim despite the tragic events in Graz. The event, scheduled to take place on Friday June 13th and Saturday June 14th, will be led by Hertel and presenter Marco Ventre. The shooting spree in Graz has left the city in a state of shock, but it also leaves behind a drive to set an example for solidarity, cohesion and humanity. Hertel emphasizes that the “Musi family” is deeply affected and that their thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families.

The organizer, Sepp Adlmann, also expresses his dismay at the tragic events and suggests that the continuation of the event is a sign of the strength and cohesion of the community. Adlmann calls for solidarity and sends his thoughts to Graz. The event is intended to provide comfort and shows the power of music that can connect people in such times.

Program and artists

The planned program items such as “music hikes”, the opening and all open-air concerts will take place as planned. Up to 15,000 visitors are expected at this special event. This includes appearances by numerous stars, including Andy Borg, Die Amigos, AlpenRebellen, Anna-Carina Woitschack, Die Edlseer, Die Grubertaler, Hansi Hinterseer, Die Junge Zillertaler, Marc Pircher, Nockis and Simone.

The performances of artists like Andy Borg and the Amigos stand as symbols of lightness and hope in these dark days. Hertel emphasizes that the music evening should be understood as a conscious statement: music can connect and comfort, even in difficult times. The event is intended to be a ray of hope and show that music can lead to strength even after dark days.

A signal of hope

This open-air concert is considered important in the current situation to take a stand against fear. People should realize that events like this can strengthen a sense of community and togetherness. The music walks and other activities at the event offer visitors the opportunity to exchange ideas and create positive memories together, despite the gloomy news.

Amid the sadness and shock, the folk music concert remains one of the few events that continues to take place. The commitment of Hertel and Ventre, together with all the support of the artists, creates a framework for hope and cohesion, which is essential in these difficult times.

Despite all the challenges, the coming days promise to be an impressive experience that not only serves for relaxation, but also sends a sign of solidarity to the people of Graz.
