New milestone: TUI Cruises presents the Mein Schiff Flow!

Monfalcone, Italien - On June 2, 2025, Fincantieri celebrated the solemn praise for the new cruise ship "Mein Schiff Flow". This ship represents the second new construction of the intuition class for TUI Cruises, which is a joint venture between TUI AG and Royal Caribbean Cruises. The launch took place at the shipyard in Monfalcone, where, among others, Daniele Fanara (Fincantieri), Cristiano Bazzara (plant manager Monfalcone) and Wybcke Meier (CEO TUI Cruises) were present.

TUI Cruises has ordered two ships in this series, with “Mein Schiff Flow” a sister ship of “Mein Schiff Relax”, which was already delivered in February 2023. The focus of the new buildings is on energy efficiency in order to reduce operating consumption and minimize the environmental impact. The delivery of the ship is planned for mid -2026.

"Mein Schiff Flow" has an impressive measurement of around 160,000 GT and a length of 333 meters. It can accommodate up to 4,000 passengers and 1,530 crew members. Special features of this ship are the dual-fuel drive, which can be operated with marine gas oil (MGO) and with liquid gas (LNG). This future-oriented technology also enables the use of low-emission fuels such as organic or e-lng.

The machines of the cruise ship produce a total of 60,000 kW (81,577 hp) and enable a speed of 21.5 knots. In order to meet the strict environmental requirements, “Mein Schiff Flow” is equipped with catalysts that comply with the Euro 6 standard, and a generator turbine that uses the residual heat of the diesel generators.
