Where is Peguyangan Waterfall
Peguyangan Waterfall is located on the western side of Nusa Penida, close to other worthwhile attractions such as Kelingking Beach. You'll find the blue stairs leading down to the waterfall at the top of a towering cliff.
I've pinned the exact location below to make it easier for you to find it. Note that the name of the waterfall on Google is actually Guyangan Waterfall.
How do I get here?
The best way to get to Peguyangan Waterfall and explore the rest of Nusa Penida's highlights is to rent your own motorbike.
You can get these at your accommodation or in the many rental shops at the harbor. A daily rental costs between 50,000 and 70,000 rupiah for a decent scooter.
Alternatively, if you want to avoid the hassle of bartering, you can book it in advance on this website for 50,000 rupiah.
Once you have your set of wheels, follow the route to the pin above. Note that the roads on Nusa Penida are a bit patchy, but they have definitely improved in recent years.
If you want to explore the island, it makes sense to visit Kelingking Beach for sunrise and then head down to some of the other west coast highlights such as Tembaling Beach, Teletubbies Hill and Sekartaji Cliffs before returning to Peguyangan Waterfall for the sunset return.
Tip: Bring a sarong if you have one. Peguyangan Waterfall is a sacred water temple. If you forget, you can “rent” one down by the waterfall for 5000-10,000 rupiah.

Alternative: The best of NUsa PENIDA in one day
Although Nusa Penida in Bali is definitely smaller, I wouldn't say it's possible to see all the attractions in a single day.
So if you're just planning a day trip from Bali, save some time.
There are many different companies offering tours from Bali to Nusa Penida that have these itineraries. However, there are a few things you should confirm when booking:

The blue stairs to Peguyangan Waterfall
Once you arrive at the location marked above, you will find a cleared area where you can park your bike. As with most activities on Nusa Penida, you must pay the 10,000 rupiah fee to park your bike.
You will see a sign with an obvious path down to Peguyangan Waterfall going down these iconic blue stairs.
These stairs are quite steep, but shouldn't be a big problem for most. It took us about 15 minutes to reach the bottom and took some photos along the way.

The Peguyangan Waterfall
If you were expecting a massive waterfall like in neighboring Bali, you might be a little disappointed. This is definitely not Peguyangan Waterfall.
However, Peguyangan Waterfall, which locals refer to as Mata Air Peguyangan, is not actually considered a “waterfall” but rather a sacred spring.
You will notice a shrine at the base, with a large pipe directing the flow of water down the steep cliff. If you're lucky, you might meet some locals who have made a pilgrimage to this site.

Infinity pool
Aside from the photo-worthy blue staircase, the impressive infinity pool is perhaps the most alluring aspect of Peguyangan Waterfall. You can find this further behind the shrine.
This pool is man-made and rests beneath an overhanging rock wall. It's a great place to relax and cool down. On big swell days, you can witness huge waves crashing and crashing over the back of the pool.
We relaxed in the pool for a good hour and played around with some local kids who seemed to be having fun playing with my camera. The hardest part of the day wasn't the climb, but trying to keep my DSLR dry!
