a piece of Black Forest culture

The Puma X Black Forest sneaker collection goes beyond the design and ties in with the deeply rooted culture of the Black Forest. This region in southwestern Germany is known for its impressive landscapes, watchmaking and for its culinary specialties, including the world -famous Black Forest cherry cake.

The Black Forest cherry cake, one of the best-known cakes in Germany, is particularly valued by the confectioner master Lisa Rudiger in Titisee-Neustadt. Her creations consist of regional ingredients, and in the film she shows her skills with a delicious Black Forest cherry cake consisting of cherries, biscuit, chocolate and Black Forest cherry water. This cake not only embodies the taste, but also the culture and the legacy of the Black Forest.

The origin of the Black Forest cherry cake has not been clearly clarified, but its popularity was largely promoted in the 1920s and 1930s. The name of the cake is derived from the Black Forest cherry water, which represents a central ingredient. Due to its awareness, the cake attracts numerous visitors who want to experience the culinary heights of the region.

The Black Forest is also known for its long tradition in fruit growing, especially in cherry production and in the distillation of fruit snaps. These traditions contribute to the regional identity and are an essential element of the tourist offer. The connection between creativity in shoe production and culinary excellence in the Black Forest can be impressively experienced.

Overall, the Puma X Black Forest Sneaker Collection not only offers a fashionable trend, but also a homogeneous connection to the rich culture and history of the Black Forest region. The market launch on May 25th is an opportunity to celebrate both - tradition and modernity.
