The tour operator Holidayheroes goes with a new cooperation between Holidayheroes and Solamento innovative ways in the travel industry. The partnership, which was officially launched after a successful three-month pilot phase, enables the Solamento advisors to access the AI platform Holidayheroes Pro. This platform is a groundbreaking development because it offers the first AI application to create vacation packages. Holidayheroes has set itself the goal of generating personalized package tours "in a matter of seconds", of course including low-cost flights and transfers.

Victoria Vlasek, General Manager Dach from Holidayheroes, emphasizes that the platform has "millions of offers" in store and that the travel consultants from Solamento can use a significant competitive advantage. This innovation is particularly interesting for the recovery of business in the area of short and city trips, says managing director Sascha Nitsche. Another detail is that no offers from Holidayheroes are currently available in tools such as Bistro, since the offers are individually manufactured.

The bookings themselves are made on the organizer's website, whereby midoffice interfaces are still under development. At the moment bookings have to be created and managed manually. Nevertheless, the AI packaging is based on careful interfaces to bed banks and airlines, which allows flexible adjustment of the offers. Among other things, travelers can select room categories, meals and transfers according to their personal preferences. In addition, travel agencies have the opportunity to define the commission per booking flexibly and transparently.

The importance of artificial intelligence (AI) in the travel industry is steadily increasing. It not only influences travel advice, but also content creation, pricing and corporate management. According to comprehensive market research by Edreams Odigeo, which was presented in its 25th anniversary, it turns out that 73 % of the global population already use AI tools for traveling or are interested in it. In Germany, this interest among the 18- to 34-year-olds has even increased to 81 %.

Holidayheroes has been active since December 2022 and has already won membership in the Vir online association since 2023 and in the DRV since 2024. A liability risk is covered by a society in Belgium that issues the travel security certificate and is listed in the booking confirmation.
