Spanish for vacation: Intensive course at the VHS Essen starts soon!
On June 6, 2025, the Adult Education Center (VHS) Essen will open a new chapter in Spanish language teaching with its intensive course “Spanish for Travel”. This course is aimed specifically at people who already have basic Spanish skills and want to improve them for travel situations. This offering gives participants the opportunity to learn important telephone and in-person communication skills that can be useful during their travels.
The course starts on Friday at 3:15 p.m. and offers a total of six sessions in small groups of six to ten people. The topics include practical aspects such as asking for directions, booking rooms and talking to locals. Under the direction of Pablo Alberto Ramos, the participants rely on everyday and interactive exercises that support confidence in linguistic expression and understanding of cultural customs.
Course details and registration
The sessions take place every Friday from 3:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the VHS on Burgplatz. The language of instruction is simple Spanish, supplemented by short German explanations to support the learning process. Those interested must register under course number 251.4S155M.
