The average travel duration is 8.5 days, while the average booking price is around 470 euros - similar to last year.

Sales channels and future goals

Sales via tour operators amount to 14%, and almost 20% come from online travel agents (OTAs). Sunny Cars is optimistic for the second half of 2024/2025 and predicts additional impulses from last-minute bookings. In summary, it can be said that the rental car industry in Germany is on a stable growth path. With the increasing use of online booking platforms, approximately 82% of total revenue is expected to be generated online by 2029. This underlines the importance of digital solutions for the industry.
