The 2025 TV Jahn Fröndenberg Gymnastics Championships offered the gymnasts a variety of competitions and great placings.
TV Jahn Fröndenberg triumphs: shower of medals in gymnastics!
On May 25, 2025, the girls' gymnastics championships in the Gauliga 2025, which spanned several months, ended. The championships started in March in Fröndenberg and concluded in Belecke, after also stopping off in Olsberg in April. TV Jahn Fröndenberg competed with three teams and showed strong performances in different performance classes.
The instructors Sonia Breuer, Wolfgang Breuer, Barbara and Karsten Langer supported the gymnasts during the competitions. The Fröndenberg gymnasts achieved impressive placements in the performance classes LK 2 and LK 4, taking second and fourth place in LK 4 and third place in LK 2.
Results in the performance classes
The results of the apparatus finals in LK 4 showed that the Fröndenberg gymnasts were particularly strong on the balance beam and uneven bars. Five gymnasts took part in LK 4, while three gymnasts competed in LK 2. The rankings at a glance:

In the LK 2 the results were also promising, especially in the vault and uneven bars, where the gymnasts achieved decent placings. Here are the rankings:

A look at the district championships
The next challenge for the gymnasts is coming up on June 14th, when the regional championships take place in Olsberg. A total of seven gymnasts from TV Jahn Fröndenberg took part in the last championships and showed good performances. the results were as follows:
- WK0: Johanna Kuge belegte mit einem Gesamtwert von 38,40 Punkten den 3. Platz und Johanna Richter den 4. Platz mit 36,20 Punkten.
- WK1: Rieke Bormann holte sich in einer hart umkämpften Kategorie den 3. Platz.
- WK2: Auch hier zeigte die TV Jahn-Turnerin stärkere Leistungen und sicherte sich Platz 3.
The regular training is paying off for the Fröndenberg gymnasts and the team leaders are hoping for even better placements and successes in the coming competitions.
