The interesting history of the building dates back to the time of the Second World War, when it was used for the movement of goods. After a freight train accident in 1970, the building fell into a state of neglect. With the extensive restoration by the Barceló Group, the hotel is now back to its full glory and offers 104 rooms, four suites as well as a restaurant and a lounge bar in a historic style.
