The current security situation in Europe has prompted the USA to issue a travel warning for several countries, including Germany. In a new report, US authorities classify popular vacation destinations as destinations of concern that face a "constant threat" from terrorist groups and lone actors. Germany receives a Level 2 classification, which recommends increased caution before personal travel.
