Yamaha has extensively redesigned the Tracer 9 for 2025, offering a model with a clear focus on technology and comfort. The new Tracer 9 GT+ is presented as a further development. It is one of the first motorcycles in its class to feature Matrix LED headlights as standard, which automatically adapt to the lighting conditions and avoid dazzling oncoming drivers. This innovative lighting not only increases safety, but also visibility when driving at dusk and at night. The comfort of driving has also been optimized. Under the hood, the Tracer 9 GT+ offers a powerful 890 cc liquid-cooled three-cylinder in-line engine that delivers 119 hp at 10,000 rpm and 93 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The motorcycle is equipped with an automated manual transmission (Y-AMT), which makes it easier to ride without a clutch pedal. New instrumentation, a USB charging port and a smart key system for ignition, luggage and fuel filler cap ensure modern convenience. A waterproof compartment for smartphones with a charging option allows you to easily carry electronic devices with you. The subframe has been lengthened by 50 mm to provide more space for the passenger and the installation of luggage.

In terms of luggage system, all models in the Tracer 9 Series are equipped with 30 liter luggage racks, although a 45 liter top case can be added to increase the number of things carried. Improved automated turn signal resets and a "long-life" drive chain that requires less maintenance complete the package and show that Yamaha has fully taken into account the needs of today's motorcyclists.
