Tonga's "forgotten island" is also the oldest island at 40 million. It is even more important that it is also one of its most beautiful. The island has a dramatic coast with a wild surf, which strikes against steep, rocky cliffs. In the interior, there are hidden caves, dolines, breathtaking natural rock formations and a jungle -like rainforest. There are several hikes on 'Eua, but our favorite led us along the southeast coast to the prehistoric rock gardens and a natural limestone bridge. On the way back, stop at Ha’Aluma Beach to immerse yourself in the lively surf.
