Before transferring to Long Island Lutheran High School, Kiyan played at Christ the King High School in Queens. During his time at Long Island Lutheran, he helped the team achieve an impressive 21-5 record and appeared in the quarterfinals of the Chipotle Nationals. He is also on the watch list for the Naismith Boys’ High School Player of the Year.
