Where is Lagaan Falls Siquijor

The Lagaan Falls Siquijor are located on the south side of the island, with the route from the Siquijor CircumFerential Road. It is close to other attractions such as the Cambugahay Falls and the Enchanted Balete Tree.

How do I get here

For those of them who are already on Siquijor and plan to stay a few days to explore the island, it is far the best way to rent your own motorcycle.

You can get one in the main tourist center of San Juan for 250-350 pesos per day. The journey from San Juan to the Lagaan Falls usually lasts 25 minutes on the circle fertial road.

Alternatively, if you don't like to drive a motorcycle, you can pay a tricycle driver 150 pesos to drive you to the starting point of the hiking trail.

Unfortunately there are no guided tours to the Lagaan Falls. However, if you have little time or just want to see the best highlights from Siquijor, including a visit to the Cambugahay Falls and the cliff jumps on the Salagdoong Beach, it may be a good idea to book a tour.

Note that you can try your luck to find a guide in San Juan. Or, if you are still in Dumaguete, then the one below is definitely the best you will find. It has hundreds of bookings and an assessment of 4.9/5 stars on Siquijor.

Lagaan Falls Siquijor-what to expect

Entry fee for the Lagaan Falls: 30 PHP

If you arrive at the start of the trail, pay the admission price and receive a paper ticket receipt. The admission ticket applies to the Lagaan Falls itself, but parking your bike here is free of charge.

You may also be offered to visit the waterfall from a local guide. This is up to you, but by no means mandatory.

After you have signed the entry form and paid your fee, you can go down the 15-minute dirt road to the waterfalls.

The path is well marked and easy to follow. The surrounding jungle is really beautiful and the noise of the gentle streams and distant waterfalls is magical.

The largest blue pool is in the lagoon style under the first level. I would say it is about 2 meters tall and has a rope swing. You can also slide down the waterfall on the obviously slippery abyss, which is popular with locals.

As soon as you enjoyed the first waterfall level, I would recommend continuing the same way to the smaller waterfalls at Lagaan Falls Siquijor. On the way you will discover other calm cold sources and large swimming holes that you can enjoy.
