Are you looking for a great place to watch the sunrise in Siargao? Take a look at this guide to the Palm Tree Lookout Siargao - a beautiful field with coconut palms from an easy -to -reach viewpoint.

siargao is the epitome of tropical vibes. Here you will find epic surf spots, fantastic jungle caves, rock pools and coconut palms as far as the eye can see.

In this guide, I will sketch everything you need to know about the Palm Tree Lookout on Siargao. This is one of my favorite viewpoints on the island and definitely one that you should watch at sunrise!

How to get to the Palm Tree Lookout on Siargao?

There are two ways to get to the Palm Tree Lookout on Siargao. I summarized both below.

Option 1: Siargao-Landtour

If you have little time or want to explore a series of different highlights on Siargao in a single day, it is a good choice to book the Siargao Land Tour. This is the most popular tour on the island and includes some indispensable activities, including:

Option 2: Independent

For the independent discoverers, rent a bike in General Luna for between 250 and 350 pesos per day. In this way I explored a large part of Siargao during my visits.

The path to the palm viewpoint on Siargao is simple and the streets on this route from General Luna are well maintained. The easiest way to get here is to simply enter the coordinates into the card below.

Where is the Palm Tree Lookout on Siargao?

You will find the palm viewpoint for only 20 minutes outside the main tourist center of General Luna. It is just before the famous Palmenstrasse, just a little further.

What you can expect at the Palm Tree Lookout Siargao

You will know immediately if you arrive at the viewpoint with coconut palms. To the right of the hill you can see a wide, cleared area where you can stop and admire the view. Here are large concrete blocks that act as a barrier and block the steep descent to the palm field below.

Of course, many coconut palms await you here. I think it is a coconut farm with rows of trees that are planted in a beautiful pattern. I visited this place a few times when I explored the island and always made a short stopover.

When you come early, you may be lucky and see a woven fog sea in the palm field. The early morning sun is also beautifully reflected in the tropical palm trees. In the distance they see large hills covered with other tropical plants.

Tips for a great photo at the Palm Tree Lookout

Below you will find some quick tips on how to take a great photo at the Siargao Palm Tree Lookout.

  • Visit early. In this way you get the best light and may be lucky enough to have the space for yourself. In addition, the viewpoint is directly on the main street, which will be used later a day.
  • bring a drone with you if you have one. This is a great place to roar, as you can probably expect.
  • Try it with a close shot. If you have a longer zoom lens, try to absorb the canopy and the mountains in the distance.
