In second place is Milan, the fashion capital of Italy, with around 6.6 million arrivals. The city, which has a population of about 1.3 million, is famous for the Milan Cathedral, Da Vinci's Last Supper and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.

Venice, known for its romantic canals, attracts approximately 5.7 million tourists and ranks third. The lagoon city has 254,000 inhabitants and offers breathtaking sights such as St. Mark's Square, the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge.
