Kart racing inspires: Champions of the Future in Viterbo!
The “Champions of the Future” event will take place in Viterbo, Italy, from May 29 to 31, 2025. This important karting championship affects the OK Senior and OK Junior classes and offers drivers an excellent opportunity to prepare under racing conditions for the upcoming FIA European Kart Championship on the first weekend in June. The track in Viterbo is celebrating its breakthrough in the international karting championships this year and will therefore be the venue for important races.
The season so far has been characterized by exciting competitions in Portugal and Spain. Now the focus is on the drivers who will compete in Viterbo. Among the German participants are Oliver Städtler from Fusion Motorsport, Carl Luthardt from MP Kartracing, Amin Kara Osman from Forza Racing and Luke Kornder from Ricky Flynn Motorsport. These pilots are hoping for success on the new course and will have to assert themselves against strong competition.
Favorites and race history
In the OK Juniors, Noah Baglin from Great Britain and Dean Hoogendoorn from the Netherlands are considered the favorites. In the OK senior class, Christian Costoya from Spain is seen as the strongest challenger. The entire event promises exciting duels and exciting moments. The heats will take place on Friday, May 29th, while the crucial Saturday, May 31st will see the final victory. The results of the final races are of great importance for the rest of the season.
