Modernized ships from NCL: dream cruises for summer 2025!

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is introducing a number of new and modernized ships for the upcoming summer season to meet the needs of its guests. With the new ship Norwegian Aqua, the fleet expands its offering and meets the demand for unique cruise experiences. David J. Herrera, President of NCL, highlights the significant investments in the ships to provide greater value to guests. The modernized ships will operate in Alaska, Europe, the Caribbean and Bermuda, allowing for a variety of destinations.

NCL offers routes in Europe that travel to the most important ports while minimizing days at sea. On average, the ships spend ten hours in the various port facilities. There are over 150 routes to choose from on eight ships, including the Norwegian Breakaway and the Norwegian Epic. The latter has been modernized with a newly designed Aqua Park and an expanded Vibe Beach Club. Norwegian Breakaway expands its service offering with the new Silver Screen Bistro, an innovative concept that combines a cinema and a restaurant.

Cruises in Alaska and the Caribbean

During the summer season through October 2025, NCL will continue to explore Alaska's breathtaking landscapes by deploying five ships to the region, including Norwegian Bliss, Encore and Joy. Cruises from Seattle on Norwegian Bliss and Encore include stops in popular destinations such as Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, Sitka and Victoria. Departure points are in the USA and Canada, especially Seattle, Washington and Vancouver. Of particular note, NCL is offering the most Alaska sailings from Seattle this season. The offer also includes “cruise tour” packages that allow longer stays in Alaska and visits to Denali National Park.

The newest ship, Norwegian Aqua, will also operate in the Caribbean and Bermuda, offering special children's attractions. With the Aqua Slidecoaster, the fastest and longest slide at sea, the ship ensures it is a highlight for families. Beginning in August 2025, Norwegian Aqua will operate five- and seven-day voyages from New York City to Bermuda. In fall 2025, the ship will return to Miami to offer Eastern Caribbean cruises.

Accommodations and Amenities

NCL not only takes care of the experience on board, but also the journey to the ships. Travelers arriving in Seattle can stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in the city center. The hotel is in close proximity to a variety of restaurants and shops, providing easy access to the city's attractions. It features a highly rated restaurant, a lounge, a free gym, and comfortable rooms with views of the skyline and surrounding mountains.

Hotel deals include transfers between the hotel and the pier, as well as a gratuity package for porters. Important information regarding room availability for triple and quadruple occupancy should also be noted to ensure that all guests can find suitable accommodation.

In fall 2025, NCL's private island, Great Stirrup Cay, will feature new family-friendly amenities, further strengthening the line's offering. In summary, NCL offers an exciting variety of experiences for cruisers seeking both the discovery of new regions and world-class onboard amenities.
