Festival cruise 2025: Mega party at the AIDAprima in Hamburg!
Today, June 1, 2025, AIDA opened the second edition of the popular “Festival Cruise” in Hamburg. On board the AIDAprima, cruise guests can enjoy a varied music and festival experience. A total of 31 artists will be performing, including well-known names such as Sido, Ski Aggu, Kool Savas, Kamrad, Mando Diao, Blümchen and Lou Bega, as well as DJ greats such as Robin Schulz. This glamorous cruise combines a living room atmosphere, club feeling and an unforgettable music festival atmosphere.
The festivities begin tonight at 6 p.m. in the Lanai Bar on Deck 7 as the ship departs. On the first night, guests can party until 6 a.m., with a noticeable bass sound heard throughout the cabins. An impressive 8,910 minutes of music are played throughout the journey, which equates to 148 hours. The theater, which has seating for 1,000 spectators, offers concerts by three acts every evening.
Encounters and enjoyment
A special feature of the “Festival Cruise” is the closeness between artists and guests, which is perceived as extremely positive by both sides. AIDA brought 20 tons of technology and 33 different dishes on board for this event to maximize culinary enjoyment. The average age of passengers is almost 39 years old and the majority have already had festival experience. 18,000 bottles of Salitos were consumed within just two days.
The cruise also includes two shore visits in Norway. Guests have the opportunity to explore the cities of Stavanger and Kristiansand, where local attractions and activities are recommended. Another “Festival Cruise” is already planned for 2026 from June 8th to 12th from Hamburg to Zeebrugge.
Art, entertainment and more
The AIDAprima, a modern cruise ship with 18 decks and 300 meters in length, is manned by 900 crew members and offers numerous opportunities for leisure activities. Onboard catering is provided by 14 bars and 14 restaurants, offering a wide range of culinary options from currywurst to sushi. Passengers also have access to a 3,100 m² wellness area with over 80 treatments, five saunas and whirlpools.
The price for the cheapest inside cabin is around 1,200 euros per person. Please note that drink prices vary (e.g. Salitos 4.50 euros, cocktails approx. 9 euros). The events and activities on board are diverse, so there is something for every taste.
