On June 2, 2025, Honda will introduce the Gold Wing 2025, a new model that is particularly impressive considering the 50th anniversary of the Gold Wing series. Originally introduced in 1975 as a 1000cc model, the Gold Wing has continued to evolve in size, performance and technology since then. The new Gold Wing is offered in two new colors: Bold Red and Black and Luxurious Gold and Silver, complemented by special anniversary logo details incorporated into the body and smart key.

Particularly noteworthy is the modern touring design, which makes the Gold Wing 2025 ideal for long journeys. Equipped with a robust cast aluminum double frame, double-link front suspension and electronic shock absorbers, the model offers both comfort and stability. The Gold Wing 2025 is powered by a powerful horizontally arranged 6-cylinder engine with 1,833 cc, which produces a power of 93 kW at 5,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 170 Nm at 4,500 rpm.

Technical details and equipment

An outstanding feature of the Gold Wing 2025 is the 7-speed dual clutch transmission integrated into a touring motorcycle for the first time, which enables an exceptional driving experience. The innovative ride-by-wire throttle system with its four driving modes optimally adapts engine power, suspension and braking force to the conditions of the journey. With a storage space of up to 120 liters and a smart key locking system, the Gold Wing not only offers functionality, but also security. The seats are upholstered in high-quality leather, and the driver's visibility is enhanced by an LED headlight with five optical lenses.

To increase safety, the Gold Wing 2025 is also equipped with airbags. A high-quality sound system and a 7-inch TFT color screen ensure that drivers always have access to information about sound, navigation and the selected driving mode. The fuel tank has a volume of 21 liters and consumption is 5.73 liters per 100 km.

Market launch and pricing

The 2025 Gold Wing will be available on the Honda DreamWing shop system in Vietnam from June 7, 2025. It offers a 2-year, unlimited mileage warranty, making it an attractive choice for frequent drivers. The recommended retail price is VND 1,231,500,000 for the gold and silver and red and black models.

The 50th anniversary edition, GL1800 Gold Wing Tour 2025, pays tribute to the storied history of Gold Wing models. The first 1,833 models sold in Europe will receive a limited model motorcycle in a “half-half design”. Approximately 28cm long and 15cm high, this model features the original design on one side and the current model on the other, illustrating the significant transformation of the motorcycle range over five decades.
