Schlager stars Anna-Maria Zimmermann and Julian Benz: New love blossoms!
Anna-Maria Zimmermann (36) and Julian Benz (33) have made their relationship public, and in a very romantic way. The couple was confirmed by Ikke Hipgold (48) on RTL. Their announcement came on May 16 in an Instagram video in which they showed their affection for each other. For now, they have asked for discretion and understanding from the press as they enjoy their new love.
Both pop stars obviously have the support of their colleagues in the music industry. Positive reactions came from Isi Glück, Oli.P, DJ Robin and Rosanna Rocci, among others. Ina Colada noted that she witnessed the development of the relationship first hand.
Separation and new beginnings
The news of the relationship follows a difficult time for Anna-Maria Zimmermann, who recently had to cope with the end of her marriage. As was announced a few months ago, she and her husband Christian Tegeler separated amicably. The separation was particularly emotional because the couple has two children together, Matti and Sepp, who are the focus during this time.
In an Instagram statement, Zimmermann emphasized that her children are the most important thing to her. Their separation took place shortly before their ten-year anniversary, which they would have celebrated on January 10th. Zimmermann and Christian Tegeler married in Austria in 2015, and the wedding was announced in Florian Silbereisen's “Advent Festival of 100,000 Lights”.
Public gestures of affection
Amid these personal changes, Anna-Maria and Julian have also shown their public gestures of affection. On May 28, Julian Benz posted a picture of a plastic Cola bottle with the name “Anna” and tagged Zimmermann in his Instagram story. Her response with a happy smiley in her own story shows that she is enjoying this new phase in her life.
The two hit artists seem to get along well and agree that they will continue to be there for their children, despite the separation from Zimmermann's husband. Whether January 10th will remain as a significant day in the calendar in the future or become an ordinary date remains unclear for the time being.
