The ratings in the categories of cleanliness with 4.94 points and external impression with 4.92 points were particularly noteworthy. These high values ​​show the efforts of the hosts and the excellent quality of the holiday apartments in Toggenburg. The award is based on the average of guest reviews from 2024.

There are three categories for the Swiss Holiday Home Award 2025 based on the number of reviews. The Toggenburg won in the medium category, which is between 150 and 300 ratings. Last year, the region achieved a rating of 4.88 points and also took first place. In the smaller category with 70 to 150 ratings, victory went to Sörenberg-Flühli in Lucerne, while the Engadin won the largest category with over 300 ratings.

The Toggenburg award is given by Toggenburg Tourism and E-Domizil, the largest online platform for holiday accommodation in Switzerland. Thousands of guest reviews from over 6,800 holiday properties in Switzerland were evaluated for this award, which underlines the importance of the award.

Special pride for the region

With this award, the Toggenburg not only won first place in its category, but also left behind important destinations such as Davos Klosters, Surselva, Flims-Laax-Falera and Adelboden-Lenk-Kandersteg. This is a remarkable achievement, especially considering that the region came in fifth place last year.
