Nuremberg Airport has big news for travelers: from next winter there will be direct flights to the Egyptian coastal city of Sharm El Sheikh again. After a five-year break, the popular travel destination is returning to the winter flight schedule. From November 4, 2025, Corendon Airlines will offer twice-weekly flights from Nuremberg to Sharm El Sheikh, departing on Tuesdays at 9 a.m. and Fridays at 2 p.m. The flight time is approximately four hours and thirty minutes. These new flights can already be booked and expand Nuremberg Airport's range of direct connections.

Attractive travel destinations in Egypt

Sharm El Sheikh, known for its breathtaking coastline, dream beaches and a fascinating underwater world with over a thousand species of fish, attracts tourists from all over the world. In addition to the paradisiacal beaches, the city also offers historical sights such as the St. Catherine's Monastery and the old town of Sharm El Maya.
