In the period from 03th to June 7th, 2025, the U 18 national selection from Saxony traveled to Kosovo, where she took part in a friendly international game tournament. The temperatures were 34 ° C during the stay. The host was the FFK (Kosovar Football Association), with which the Saxon kickers were able to maintain important encounters and encounters. The highlights of the trip included meetings with Agim Ademi, the President of the Kosovar Football Association, as well as Jörn Rohde, the German Ambassador, and Faruk Ajeti, the Kosovar ambassador.

The first game took place in Pristina, in the new national training center of the Kosovars. Here the Saxon selection met the Kosovar U 18 national team. Although Saxony took the lead 1-0 early, Kosovo turned the game and in the end clearly won 7-1.
