Tel Aviv, Israel - A new impulse for tourism between Slovakia and Israel: Slovakia Travel reopened his constant representation in Tel Aviv after a break. Gabriela Madrová has been leading this foreign representation since May 2025 to increase the visibility of Slovakia as an attractive holiday country. Israel is an important source market for Slovak tourism, especially for leisure and therapy experiences. This development was also supported by Matej Fekete, the general director of Slovakia Travel, who emphasizes that the new presence will decisively promote incoming tourism. In addition, the advantages of Slovakia, which is considered a safe travel destination, are emphasized.

Slovakia offers a variety of recreational options that are particularly shaped by their natural resources. With almost 2,000 thermal and mineral sources, the country moves many Israeli visitors to its spas. These spas are known for their healing properties and are specifically advertised to increase the attractiveness of Slovakia. In addition to wellness offers, Slovakia Travel also emphasizes the UNESCO World Heritage Sites as well as historical castles, charming mansions and impressive cave systems.

Another step towards promoting tourism is participation in the ImTM 2025, the largest tourism fair in the Mediterranean, where Slovakia Travel presented the various offers of the country.
