Trump in the Emirates: gold chains, billion-dollar deals and golf dreams!

Donald Trump recently completed his golf trip through the Gulf region, which took him to the states of Saudi Arabia and Qatar, among other places. In Abu Dhabi he was welcomed with a traditional dance ceremony that underlined his status as an important guest. Trump emphasized that billions of dollars in investments were agreed upon during his meetings, although many of the deals are unclear or are actually lower than announced. Particularly notable was a gold chain presented to him as the country's highest civilian honor. In addition, Trump received an entire plane from Qatar, demonstrating the generous gestures of the Gulf states Mirror reported.

During his four-day trip, Trump combined political and business interests. Of particular note is the Trump Golf Course in Dubai, which opened during his first term in office and already advertises the Trump brand. Golfers have to pay around 400 euros for an 18-hole round. The golf course manager reported increased interest in the project, underscoring Trump's popularity and business connections in the region.

Business ambitions and projects

During this trip, Eric Trump announced the construction of a new skyscraper, Trump Tower, in Dubai, which will be built on Sheikh Zaid Road and will feature the highest outdoor swimming pool in the world. Eric described Dubai as an ideal location for Trump projects and praised the support developers receive there. In another move, the United Arab Emirates plans to invest about $1.4 trillion in the US and reports an additional $2 billion investment in Trump's crypto ventures, showing the Emirates' ambitions to develop a Global Center for Artificial Intelligence and Cryptocurrency, such as daily news notes.

Despite the business connections, Trump did not act as an admonisher but as a business partner during his stay in Abu Dhabi. Critics like Scott Amey expressed concerns about the confluence of his public and private interests. Nevertheless, Trump praised the positive relations between the US and the Emirates. During this trip he left it open whether he would travel to Turkey to take part in peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, but did not take part in the discussion in Istanbul. Trump also announced that he wanted to meet directly with Vladimir Putin as soon as possible.

After his stays in the Gulf states, Trump plans to return home soon, bringing with him numerous investment commitments and new business prospects.
