The neck view

The Neck Lookout is the best way to enjoy the picturesque coastal prospects of these unique lands. As soon as you have reached the parking lot, you have to climb 279 wooden levels to achieve the viewpoint of the outpost.

let me tell you that this view is worth the hype and the ascent! At the top you have a 360-degree viewpoint with a view of the golden sand that separates the beautiful d’trecasteaux channel (left) from the Tasman Lake (right).

The wooden footbridge and the stairs also extend to the Neck Beach, an incredibly long sand strip that is home to native birds such as short-tailed storm divers and fairy pinguins.
