Bremerhaven will become a cruise hotspot for ship fans in June 2025!

Bremerhaven is preparing for a special month. A total of 13 cruise ships are expected in the city in June 2025, attracting many maritime enthusiasts. The ships belong to the popular “Mein Schiff” fleet as well as other traditional lines such as Phoenix Reisen. Of particular note are the arrivals of the ships “Artania”, “Amera” and “Amadea”. The port city is therefore a popular starting point for large cruises.

The June cruise begins on June 4th with the arrival of the “Amera”, which arrives at 8 a.m. from Måløy, Norway. After a short stay of ten hours, the ship will continue to Ulvik at 6 p.m. The next day, Bremerhaven expects the first of the “Mein Schiff” ships: “Mein Schiff 3” comes from Kirkwall at 5:30 a.m. and leaves for London at 5 p.m. “Mein Schiff 2” is expected on June 6th, arriving from Molde at 5:30 a.m. and also setting off for Bergen at 5 p.m.

Events and special arrivals

Another highlight will take place on June 7th when the “Amadea” arrives from Edinburgh at 8 a.m. She will also leave for Aalborg at 6 p.m. on the same day. On June 17, Mein Schiff 3 returns, this time from Invergordon, and is scheduled to depart for Seyðisfjörður at 5 p.m. June 18th will be a special day with a double call: “Mein Schiff 2” and the “Amera” will be in port at the same time.

The “Mein Schiff 2” arrives from Ålesund at 5:30 a.m., while the “Amera” lands at 8 a.m. from Bergen. Both ships leave Bremerhaven in the evening: “Mein Schiff 2” to Bergen at 5 p.m. and “Amera” to Reykjavik at 6 p.m. The “Artania” docks on June 19th, followed by “Amadea”, which sets off from Wismar to Stavanger on June 21st at 8 a.m.

Further planned calls

An overview of the planned ship arrivals shows the wide variety of cruise offers that Bremerhaven offers. The following attempts are planned, among others:

  • Am 27. Juni kommt die „Artania“ um 8 Uhr aus Bergen, während die „Deutschland“ um 18 Uhr nach Texel ablegt.
  • „Mein Schiff 3“ kehrt am 29. Juni für eine neue Reise zurück, und „Mein Schiff 2“ folgt am 30. Juni, ebenfalls wie gewohnt um 5:30 Uhr an.

The Columbuskaje in Bremerhaven, where the cruise ships moor, is about two kilometers from the city center and is therefore easily accessible. The Columbus Cruise Center was inaugurated on May 2, 2003 and is considered a good starting point for visitors. The city of Bremerhaven continues to focus on expanding its capacities and increasing its attractiveness for cruise operators and guests.
