Last weekend, a major festival of folk cultural associations was held in Quang Binh Province, where Khuong Ha Tuong Boi Club won first prize. The festival offered the participating groups the opportunity to present their regional cultural characteristics. A total of 21 performances from ten different clubs in the province took part. This diversity reflected the unique folk culture of Quang Binh and underlined the careful preparation of the clubs, which impressed with creativity in expression, melody and choreography.
Prizes and awards
The organizing committee recognized ten outstanding achievements. The prizes were awarded as follows:
- Erster Preis: Khuong Ha Tuong Boi Club (Gemeinde Hung Trach, Bo Trach).
- Zweiter Preis: Volksgesang- und Gesangclubs der Gemeinde Ngu Thuy (Le Thuy), Volksmusik und Gesang der Gemeinde Loc Ninh (Stadt Dong Hoi).
- Dritter Preis: Clubs für Volkslieder der Gemeinde Vinh Ninh (Quang Ninh), Volkskultur der Gemeinde Nhan Trach (Bo Trach), Volkslieder – Ca tru der Gemeinde Minh Hoa (Minh Hoa).
The performance “Old Man Carrying His Wife to the Festival” was particularly popular and impressed the audience at Khuong Ha Tuong Boi Club.
Aim and meaning of the festival
The festival aims to spread local folk cultural values in community life and raise awareness about the protection and promotion of these valuable cultural aspects. The intensive exchange and learning for artisans, amateur actors and folk song lovers were crucial parts of the event.
