New cruise adventure: Queen Anne starts from Southampton to Hamburg in 2026!
On January 4, 2026, the Cunard shipping company will send its newest attraction, the Queen Anne, on an introductory cruise from Southampton to Hamburg. The approximately three-day voyage includes a day at sea and offers passengers a variety of onboard amenities and entertainment. With prices starting at 150 euros per person for an inside cabin, this cruise is both attractive and good value for money. Outside cabins are available from 270 euros and balcony cabins from 280 euros. Solo travelers must expect a minimum price of 262 euros. The tour price includes full board, tips and various drinks such as coffee, tea and juices.
The Queen Anne, which will enter service in May 2024, is one of the shipping company's largest ships with a length of 322 meters and a width of 35 meters. It has a capacity for around 3,000 passengers and 1,225 crew members. The ship's name honors the British monarch Anne, who reigned between 1702 and 1714. The interior is decorated in an elegant Art Deco style and offers numerous culinary options, including four main restaurants as well as a variety of specialty restaurants at an additional cost. Leisure options include a Royal Court Theatre, a Panorama Pool Club with live music, a gym and an extensive spa area, which can be used for a fee.
Itinerary and arrival
The cruise itinerary begins in Southampton, followed by a day at sea before the Queen Anne docks in Hamburg. Since April 9, 2025, traveling to Great Britain requires an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization), which is available for around 19 euros and is valid for two years. Flights to London from Bremen cost around 100 euros and bus connections or flight packages can be booked for the onward journey to Southampton.
In addition, the route is also offered with other Cunard ships such as the Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria, which also operate between Southampton and Hamburg. The port in Hamburg, which is located in the Cruise Center Altona, is easily accessible by plane and train.
Cruises of a special kind
Cunard has a long tradition in luxury cruises and, with the Queen Anne, offers an attractive option for North Sea cruises. The diverse culinary and leisure options make this boat trip a special experience. In addition to the planned introductory cruise, there are regular trips in different periods, including additional tours in 2025 and 2026. These cruises are ideal for anyone looking for a tasteful and entertaining trip on the water.
