We have compiled a selection of the best prospects in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the home of some of the most beautiful landscapes in England
after we had just moved to the area and seriously started exploring the Yorkshire Dales, we thought it was appropriate to share something of the other landscape that the Dales had to offer.
The Yorkshire Dales National Park (YDNP) was shown in 1954 and expanded by 24 % to a total of 2,178 km2 in 2016. YDNP is famous for having some of the most beautiful limestone landscapes in Great Britain with cliffs, sidewalks and caves in the middle of an extensive heath landscape with gentle hills and dramatic waterfalls, all of which are crossed by kilometers of dry stone walls and picturesque villages.
The park attracts over 3.5 million visitors every year who want to explore the beautiful landscape, be it on foot, by bike or kayak - to name just a few of the available options. Against this background we have put together a selection of the best prospects in the Yorkshire Dales.
