Current risk maps 2025: Where travelers need to be particularly careful!
Safeture recently released updated 2025 Risk Maps, providing travelers with a comprehensive overview of safety-related information for six continents. Users can now access the maps, which contain information on Africa, Europe, North America, South America, Asia and Oceania. This comprehensive resource was created in collaboration with Riskline, a leading provider of travel risk analysis. The maps are available for free download and can be viewed on Safeture's website, where they can be found at www.safeture.com/riskmap.
The new risk level classification is designed intuitively: It ranges from dark green for low risk to light green for low risk and red for critical risk. The maps not only provide national risk assessments, but also information on cities with high crime rates and an overview of the ten most dangerous cities per continent, with six cities listed in Oceania. This enables a comprehensive assessment of hazards, including natural disasters and regional risks.
Critical information for travelers
To enable travelers to plan safely, Safeture recommends setting up technical solutions to maintain contact with assistance service providers in high-risk areas. This initiative is particularly important because the risk ratings are based on an analysis of threats ranging from crime and demonstrations to terrorism and armed conflict. Countries that require in-depth information on country-specific risks are marked in the new maps with signal colors orange and red.
Safeture, a SaaS company headquartered in Sweden, was founded in 2009 and is used by over 4,000 companies and organizations worldwide. Safeture shares are listed on the NASDAQ First North Growth Market Stockholm under the ticker SFTR. The cooperation with Riskline has existed since October 2022 and is supported by technologies based on over 100,000 data sources.
Additional resources from TRISAVO
In addition to Safeture's information, TRISAVO offers its own 2025 risk map to help travelers assess global security risks. These maps are also based on a comprehensive analysis of hazards and threats. The final risk classification in countries and regions takes into account several factors in order to provide the best possible information base. Even in countries with a low risk rating, security-related information is of great importance and must be provided by senders in accordance with international best practice.
TRISAVO aims to efficiently outsource the information obligations for companies and minimize internal efforts to ensure that travelers are as well informed as possible.
For those who value safety, Safeture's new risk maps and TRISAVO's complementary information are essential to making informed decisions for their travels.
