Industrial and Trade Fair 2025: Ha Tinh ready for a big appearance!
The 2025 North Central Region Industrial and Trade Fair of Vietnam will be held at Tran Phu Square in Ha Tinh City from September 17 to 22, 2025. vietnam.vn reports that the exhibition aims to promote trade and connectivity in this region. Around 250 stands are expected to present a variety of products and services.
Exhibitors can expect typical rural industrial products, OCOP (One Commune One Product) products, regional specialties as well as textiles, leather shoes, accessories, metal products and electronics. The fair also offers services in the areas of banking, finance, post and telecommunications as well as tourism and investment promotion.
Versatile program
Of particular note is the diverse program, which includes check-in areas and evening art performances to attract visitors and shoppers. The target groups of the event are companies, cooperatives and production facilities that want to present their products and exchange experiences. The fair is part of the 2025 National Trade Promotion organized under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee.
The campaign “Vietnamese prefer to use Vietnamese goods” will also be promoted to facilitate access to high-quality products from different provinces. To this end, the ministry works closely with other ministries and local authorities.
International trade cooperation
At the same time, the SCO Industrial and Supply Chains Forum and the International Investment and Trade Expo 2023 will take place in Qingdao, Shandong. prnewswire.com reports the participation of 330 companies and organizations from 34 countries and regions. This event showcased over 10,000 kinds of imported specialties and signed contracts for goods worth a total of one billion yuan (about 140 million USD).
In the context of a sluggish global economic recovery, the SCO countries emphasize the need for stable and efficient supply chains. SCO Deputy Secretary General Nurlan Yermekbayev highlights the importance of cooperation in industrial and supply chains to ensure stability. The Qingdao fair showcases a variety of food, consumer goods, handicrafts and agricultural products, reflecting the rich diversity of participating nations.
The initiative to create international trade connections highlights the increasing relevance of the SCO for trade and economic policy in the region. This not only supports trade between China and its SCO partners, but also strengthens overall economic cooperation in the region.
