TUI presents: Asia as a top travel destination for winter 2025/26

TUI Deutschland presented its 2025/2026 winter program in Berlin today, and despite geopolitical and economic uncertainties, Germans' desire to travel remains unbroken. The demand for long-distance travel, especially to Asia, has increased significantly. Popular travel destinations continue to be Spain, Egypt, Turkey and Portugal. In winter, travelers can also benefit from falling prices for Australia, the Maldives, Mauritius, South Africa, the Seychelles and Sweden.

A highlight of the new program is the introduction of various product lines: TUI Select for premium travel, X-TUI for flexible and cheaper options and TUI Solo, which is specifically intended for solo travelers. The TUI Solo Weeks start in Crete and Turkey with special offers for singles.

New offers and travel destinations

For the first time, TUI is offering package holidays to the largest ski area in Northern Europe, specifically in Sälen and Trysil. TUI fly will fly from Düsseldorf to Scandinavian Mountains Airport in Sweden on Saturdays, where a total of 20 hotels and lodges in this region can be booked. In addition, the new Robinson Club Fieberbrunn is opening in the Kitzbühel Alps, while Sharm El Sheikh is the new focus with the TUI Magic Life Redsina. The airline offers two weekly flights from Düsseldorf and Frankfurt to the Sinai Peninsula.

What is particularly noteworthy is the growing demand for travel to Asia. TUI currently has 22 hotels in eight Asian countries, including Thailand, the Maldives, Mauritius, Malaysia, Japan and China. Among the new offers is the TUI Blue The Haven Ipoh in Malaysia.

Asia as a popular travel destination

Asia, which stretches from Turkey to Japan and from Russia to Indonesia, offers a diverse range of cultures, climates and landscapes. Vacation types will find numerous options for their dream vacation here. Beach holidays are particularly recommended in Thailand and the Maldives. For romantic experiences, wellness hotels and Ayurvedic treatments in Sri Lanka are a good choice. Those interested in culture can immerse themselves in countries such as Japan, China and India, while active holidaymakers can look forward to snorkeling, diving or trekking in northern Thailand.

Cape Verde is experiencing a booking increase of over 20%, making it one of the top 10 travel destinations for the coming winter. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are also very popular with winter travelers. TUI Tours enables tailor-made tours in real time, so that everyone can fulfill their individual wishes. In addition, TUI is expanding its leisure offering in Germany beyond traditional holidays, which is accessible via the TUI app. Here travelers can choose from more than 1,000 experiences in Germany.
