Quang Binh Province in Vietnam is hosting Quang Binh Tourism Week 2025 from May 22 to 28, 2025. Over 100 delegates, including experts and travel companies, will support the various activities and take part in discussions on sustainable tourism development.
The kick-off event will take place on May 22nd with a survey and discussion program on the development of tourism products. There are important program items on the agenda on May 23rd, including a discussion on the sustainable development of tourism with around 150 delegates, an art program under the motto “Quang Binh – Come and Love” and a spectacular low-impact fireworks display with 45 fireworks. These events are intended to stimulate interest in Quang Binh and showcase its tourism opportunities.
Cultural and gastronomic highlights
Particularly noteworthy is the culinary festival, which will take place from May 25th to 28th. There will be around 75 stalls on offer, including food and OCOP stalls. On the evenings of May 23rd and 25th, traditional art performances will entertain visitors. Going forward, the province is also planning measures to ensure safety, food safety and health throughout the event.
In addition to the cultural events, the Quang Binh Province Folk Culture Club Festival will be held at Nhat Le Park on May 24th and 25th. Mass sports activities such as badminton and swimming tournaments are also part of the festival week. The focus is on attracting both domestic and international tourists and promoting Quang Binh's image. A “business matching” event will also connect local service providers with almost 100 tour operators.
Attractions and vision of the future
Quang Binh, known as the “Kingdom of Caves,” features over 300 caves, including Son Doong, the largest natural cave in the world. Other notable caves include Phong Nha, Thiên Duong, Tiên Son, En and Tôi. With 116.4 km of coastline, cultural and historical sites, the region offers a wide range of tourist activities, from adventure tours to caving, cultural experiences and water sports.
