Elmshorn, Deutschland - On June 5, 2025, Dariusz Kwiecinski was appointed the new CEO of Orlen Deutschland GmbH. He has over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and follows an impressive career that has seen him in various management positions at Orlen Germany since 2024. Before his appointment as CEO, Kwiecinski was initially executive director for sales and marketing and most recently Senior Executive Director. The Orlen Deutschland GmbH, a 100%subsidiary of the Polish multien energy group Orlen S.A., was founded in March 2003 and is based in Elmshorn. The company is part of the International Orlen Group and is one of the ten largest petrol station operators in Germany. Dariusz Kwiecinski began his career at the Loto's group (formerly Gdansk Refinery) and held management positions at Mazeikiu Nafta and Pern. His well-founded training includes a master's degree in transport and logistics, which he completed in 1998 at the University of Danzig, as well as a postgraduate course in practical social psychology at the SWPS University in Warsaw in 2010. 2015 he completed a four-year doctoral program in management science at the Kozminski University in Warsaw. During his time at the Orlen Group between 2010 and 2014, Kwiecinski worked as director of the commercial and logistics office at Orlen GAZ and as Director of the International Trading & Wholesale Support area.
