On June 5, 2025, Dariusz Kwiecinski was appointed as the new CEO of Orlen Deutschland GmbH. He brings over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, following an impressive career that has seen him hold various leadership positions at Orlen Germany since 2024. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Kwiecinski was Executive Director of Sales and Marketing and most recently Senior Executive Director at the company. Orlen Deutschland GmbH, a 100% subsidiary of the Polish multi-energy group ORLEN S.A., was founded in March 2003 and is based in Elmshorn. The company is part of the international ORLEN Group and is one of the ten largest gas station operators in Germany. With over 600 ORLEN and star gas stations, Orlen Germany not only offers quality fuels, but also its own shop products.
Career and education
Dariusz Kwiecinski began his career at Lotos Group (formerly Gdańsk Refinery) and held management positions at Mazeikiu Nafta and Pern. His in-depth education includes a master's degree in transport and logistics, which he completed in 1998 at the University of Gdańsk, and postgraduate studies in practical social psychology at the SWPS University in Warsaw in 2010. In 2015, he completed a four-year doctoral program in management sciences at the Kozminski University in Warsaw. During his time at the Orlen Group between 2010 and 2014, Kwiecinski served, among other things, as Director of the Trading and Logistics Office at Orlen Gaz and as Director of International Trading & Wholesale Support.
Kwiecinski brings extensive expertise in market analysis, logistics, purchasing, marketing and price management and has led numerous pioneering projects, particularly in the context of change management processes.
Strategic direction
Under the leadership of Dariusz Kwiecinski, Orlen Germany will continue to place a strong focus on electromobility offerings, alternative sustainable fuels and environmentally friendly use of resources. The company also offers B2B fleet cards and additional services such as car wash and parcel services.
